Years with MBYF:
1 Year
Football Experience:
3 years El Cerrito High JV Coach
Kids in Program:
None Currently
Goal for players:
I would like the kids to enjoy the
dynamic of playing a team sport &
making friends with kids they normally
would not cross paths with. I would
like them to leave knowing more about
football and life then they did coming
in. |
Learn
to maximize potential know what it
feel like to give their all.
Key to players success:
Work Hard, Work Smart, Come to play
with a Positive attitude, be a great
teammate.
Favorite MBYF Memory:
One of my favorite of many memories
from last season was watching the
development of our players between
week 1 of our season and the last
week of our season. Watching them
change for the better was incredible!! |

Years with MBYF:
2 Year
Football Experience:
6 Years Coaching Youth Football in
the Bay Area and played through College.
Kids in Program:
1 In cheer but none in football
Goal for players:
Learn life lessons that will make
them successful beyond the football
field. “When do we know we have
succeeded? Is it when we have a mantel
full of trophies? Is it when we have
met our goals? |
Is
it when we have a good reputation?
In truth, none of these things matter.
What we should be concerned about
is our character. Our character represents
what we truly are, while accolades
and achievements are merely byproducts
of what others perceive us to be.”
Key to players success:
Be on time and learn/execute sound
fundamentals. Ask yourself, “Did
I make the effort to do my best?”
If you did, you are successful. If
you did not, dig harder and give it
your all! Do your best and forget
the rest!
Favorite MBYF Memory:
Watching my Rookie players progress
so much that they could run practice
pretty much on their own by the end
of last season. |
